Connections

Last week was a great one exploring what God has for us next. We went to Flat Rock, NC, to Bonclarken. We made new friends. We saw more beautiful scenery. And we were approved for church planting with the ARP. This waterfall is one we saw on the way when we went in January. Because of our trip to CA before the trip to NC, we didn't get a chance to do quite as much sight-seeing as we did before but we did drive through Saluda on the way to a restaurant on the outskirts of Tryon and that was a beautiful trip. How ironic that this area is where I went to summer camp (a Christian camp) when I was in junior high.

This is the hotel at Bonclarken and the view from it to the lake below. The hotel is surrounded by eclectic architecture that serve as buildings for meetings and more places for people to stay. When we go back in June for Synod (General Assembly) we will be staying in the hotel. It should be a fun experience - no heat or air. There's a bathtub in the room but if you want a shower, it's in the hall!

When we got home, the "Little Kids" were here with their wonderful spouses and their babies. How blessed we are to see our babies holding their babies!
